So Winter's finally here.... what's everyone's projects been? Keepin' the garages warm?
Personally, I moved a few weeks ago. The new rental is supposed to have a new garage floor poured... no progress yet, but hopefully soon? Until then, can't tinker with the z... just dreaming of boost.

I've been freezing my keister off! Last month I finished up yard work before the "real" cold started. For the first time in my life, I raked leaves with snow on them! A few weeks later I hauled a load of leaves and branches to the recycle center. I got the shed cleaned out and organized so I could start moving stuff out of the garage. The shed was built on a small hill which was the most level part of our back yard. In order to make the shed level, we used cement blocks to support the floor. On one corner the pillar of blocks are 5 high and they were sticking out about 1.5" further than the rest. I just wasn't happy about this, so I decided to raise the shed with a car jack and move the blocks back. It took several hours to complete the job, because the ground was frozen! Later I got some stuff moved out to the shed so my wife could park in the garage again. I haven't had time to work on the Z yet, plus the garage isn't heated. I've been using a small electric heater and after several hours it makes the garage bearable, so I'm planning to have more electric ran to the garage to accomodate a 220V heater. It would also be nice to have more electric outlets in the garage for welding and other electric tools. This weekend I worked on the snow blower which wouldn't start. I didn't put any fuel stabilizer in the gas tank before summer storage so it wouldn't start. After draining the carb and a good dose of carb cleaner, it ran great again! I look forward to working on the garage more and getting it organized, so I can start taking apart the Z. Of course, my favorite activity last month was picking up the new hood for the 240Z! I already plan to save for new OEM fenders from Nissan and I am also considering replacement rear quarters. The repair panels I bought for the rear don't cover the rust damage around the taillights, but new quarter panels would take care of that. I'm pretty much in a holding pattern until after Christmas and I've got more money saved. I hope you guys are doing well! Robert S.

Yes you have been busy... i have been lazy rather than busy... lol. I started sanding my front lip, getting it preped for paint, and i have a buddy who is going to do it for free. He got a hold of me and informed me i sanded it uneven so i have to buy filler so he can fix it. I also started sanding my rims to repair some scuffs and also get ready for paint. Turns out that is alot of work. Lol. My father in law has a sand blaster but its just to small for my rims. I also got to look at my suspension closer, and it appears all but one is seized. And all the top moints need replaced $180 for fronts. Not sure on the rears. Got some work to do. Plan to have all done by march.
