Since it has been down right dead around here lately I thought I would try and spark a little conversation.
Why do you love your Nissan and what made you choose your car?

I personally choose nissan to start with because my mom bought a rogue back in 08 when they first came out and i fell in love with it right away. Has never had any problems with it, so when it was my turn to look for a car i decided to give Nissan a try. Sure enough, i found my altima for a good price, plus it has everything i was looking for.

For me it started back in 2002 when I only had one car and I needed to pick up another once without spending much when I came across a 1993 NX2000. I had no idea what it was but I thought it looked cool and it was 5 speed. I took it for a drive and came away very impressed with how it drive and the power from the sr20de although I had no idea what that was at the time. It was shortly after that when I first saw the 350z and the G35 and was totally hooked. Here is a pic of my NX

I'm into Nissans because of the Z cars - my first Nissan was a '90 Z32 and I loved the look and handling of it.

I've been a fan of Nissans since the late 80's, after we moved from Iowa to Florida. The 280ZX and Z31 300ZX were very popular. The Z32 300ZX is still one of my favorite Z models. In 1988, the neighbor's daughter bought a late model Nissan Pulsar and a few years later my brother bought a 1986 Nissan pickup. In 1994, my brother traded in the old truck for a brand new Nissan Hardbody. In 1997 I was saving to buy a Maxima, but the engine in my old Honda Prelude died, so I only had $400 cash for a down payment on a new car. I visited the local Nissan dealer (in Chattanooga, TN at the time) and decided to get a new Nissan pickup. It was during their year end sale, so with the $2000 rebate and my $400, I had enough to buy the truck! Of course, with an interest rate of 12.9%, my monthly payment was $360. That's more than I paid for my new Corolla 5 years ago! Anyway, I still own my Nissan truck after nearly 16 years. When I started my new job in Cedar Rapids 5 years ago, I found out my new coworker was restoring a 1974 260Z. Well, that started a new obsession with the first generation Z's and last June I bought a 240Z to restore. Anyway, this was a great topic for discussion. Robert S.

Can't wait to see the Z! I have also become interested in the earlier ones recently.
