Its always a great time! Ive been there the last 2 years. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it this year. But its definitely a must attend event.
That registration map with who is going is still from last year. It doesn't look like registration had been opened yet this year.

Guys,
My wife and I will be attending the show on Saturday. I already booked a room at Super 8 since the host hotel/property was already full. A few months ago I mentioned the Branson Z Fest to my wife, but didn't think she would be interested since our anniversary is on June 5. Then a few weeks ago she said why don't we visit Branson and we can attend the show too! I'm in the long process of restoring a 1971 240Z, so I'll only be a spectator at the show. I hope to meet more Z fans at the show!

If you call the hotel and say your with the group, you get a pretty good rate. I really wish I could go this year, just got other things going on. This year will be the tenth anniversary!

No, I didn't try calling the hotel to see if they are truly booked. I went to the website to reserve a room and there wasn't any available. I would guess most people attending book their room first before registering for the event. I don't know if the event organizers blocked off a section of rooms for those attending so it looks like the hotel is full. We usually stay at Super 8 on road trips and their online rate was around $56 per night. I think this is comparable to the rate at the host hotel. Sorry to hear you can't make it this year. Robert S.

My girlfriend and I will be going to Branson a few days early on Tuesday so we can cruise the hills and see some of the shows in Branson. This will be my fourth year and it gets better every year. You want to stay at the host hotel so you can participate in the after dark activities.

I'm hoping to sign up soon. I found out that I may have a work thing obligation, but if that falls through, I really want to go to this... It would also be awesome to drive down with some folks together!

Luke,
Glad you'll be able to attend! We still plan to drive down on Thursday and we'll come on Tuesday. Since we don't have a Z to drive down yet, we'll only be attending the car show on Saturday. Look forward to seeing you there!

Luke, We're leaving from Cedar Rapids/Marion sometime Thursday morning. My wife says we need to leave fairly early and it's about 7 hours from here. I guess it's about 8 hours from where you are, but of course with that sporty Z you could make it in 5. Robert S.

I still plan to attend the BBQ on Thursday before the Branson Z Fest, however the organizer for the event posted this "clarification" on their Facebook page: "Just as a point of clarification.. The BBQ is not open to the general public. You need to be supporting the event as a paid participant to join us. (Or make a sizable donation to the collection and we may just look the other way. ). My personal thanks go out to the sponsors and volunteers that make this happen. You people are awesome." I'm not a paid participant of the Branson Z Fest because we're going as "spectators" and I don't have a Z to enter into the show. I assumed we could attend the BBQ if we paid for our meals and the money would go toward their charity of choice. However, after reading this comment on Facebook, I'm not sure that's the case. I want to spend more time with fellow Z fans, but I don't want to show up at the BBQ only to be turned away. For those that have attended before, could you provide some insight? Robert S.
