All my parts: Ebay cat back Isis test pipe Megan downpipe Megan header We did have to tap the o2 senser bung as it was stripped. We had to remove the egr valve as well. It wasnt to difficult. Might do a write up sometime. Before After I can definitely tell a difference in response. The car picks up and goes much quicker.

Then I replaced my compression rod bushings with ES prothanes and they have been crap and don't fit properly. That is why I may to have someone press in some bushings for so I can go back to OEM.

Yep, sorry I wasn't clear on that. I still think they make a quality product overall but their compression rod bushing for the g35 and Z are not good.

Lol. Mine will be slowly progressing. My bushings are next. Does anyone have a press. I can pay you to press my bishings in. If your local napa has a machine shop they can press them in. The one in Creston, Ia does it for fairly cheap. But most of them probably don't offer that service. Just have all the pieces ready to go. You may be able to talk a regular repair shop into it as well. Good luck! Edit: if I was doing it I would probably try jerry rigging my vise with metal rings and hopefully not messing it up! Lol

So i am fairly certain my sputtering is a bad fuel pump. Considering a walbro pump. Is it a bad idea to do this with an all stock motor, or does it matter.

It won't really matter since you are still using stock injectors. They are still limited in how much fuel they can spray in there so it's not as if the higher flow fuel pump will overwhelm the stock injectors. I ran my old SE-R this way until I boosted it and it was fine so you might as well upgrade while you are at it just in case you decide to do something that would require it, like boost.

Also removed one of the 3 timing chain guides. These are an issue with 240s. They chain hits the gaurd and makes a ticking noise. Annoying.

Was that the cause of the ticking noise from when you bought the car?
